Pennine Way 60th anniversary celebrations
I’m interviewed in the April 2025 issue of The Great Outdoors Magazine – The Original Mountain Magazine.

If you’re in the Pennines do also swing by the new exhibition in which I’m featured at Dales Countryside Museum in Hawes, Yorkshire Dales, “A Trail of Inspiration: The Pennine Way at 60”.
I’ll also be speaking at the Museum on 24th April at an event celebrating the 60th anniversary of the Pennine Way and sharing my adventures walking the long distance footpath chronicled in my book I Belong Here: a Journey Along the Backbone of Britain.

I appeared on BBC Radio 4’s Today programme on 27th June 2022 – my essay dispatching on the UK’s beaches and waxing lyrical about my love of the coast including a walk on Chesil Beach, and I was also delighted to close the programme with a discussion launching the show’s callout for listeners’ favourite beaches. If any commissioners out there would like me to be their regular beach correspondent just get in touch via the Contact page!
