I’m an award-winning travel writer and as well as my book publications including I Belong Here: a Journey Along the Backbone of Britain, I have written travel articles in publications including The Guardian, Sunday Times, BBC Wildlife, Harpers Bazaar and more. I’ve written dispatches from the UK and Europe, Australasia, South America, North America including the USA, the Caribbean, Africa and Asia.
My travel writing ranges from epic walking adventures including walking the Pennine Way to an overland adventure from London to Sydney. I have a particular specialism in walking adventures, nature and wildlife, as well as overland adventures including via railways. I also write travel reviews along the way including reviews of activities and cultural happenings, food and gastronomy, and accommodation.
